Important changes to Digital Media courses at Central

From September 2013, Central will be working with our long-standing partner, Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies, to deliver courses in digital media, music technology and interactive media at their state of the art facilities in Nottingham's City Centre . BTEC Diploma in Creative Media Production - Games Development (Level 2)
The BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Creative Media Production is designed to give you an introduction to creative technologies used in the media industry.

BTEC Diploma in Creative Media Production - Television and Film (Level 2)
The BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Creative Media Production is designed to give you an introduction to creative technologies used in the media industry.

BTEC Diploma in Music Technology (Level 2)
If you have little or no experience in music technology and are looking to improve your academic skills whilst exploring different areas of the music and creative industries, then this course is for you.

BTEC Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production - Games Development (Level 3)
The Games Development course will give you skills in games design, production, and knowledge of the interactive media industry.

BTEC Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production - Television and Film (Level 3)
This course would suit individuals who are interested in the film and television industry and want to know how moving image products are created.

BTEC Extended Diploma in Music Technology (Level 3)
If you have a strong interest in music then the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Music Technology course is for you. There are two pathways: Urban and Electronic Production; and Rock and Live Production.

BTEC Extended Diploma in Radio Production (Level 3)
If you have a strong interest in radio, then the Level 3 Radio Production course is for you.

BTEC Extended Diploma in Technical Events Production (Level 3)
If you have a strong interest in events, in particular the technical and ‘backstage’ roles, then the Level 3 Technical Events Production course is for you.

Introduction to the Creative Industries
This foundation course will give you basic music, video and games production skills, and start you thinking about possible careers in the creative industries.
