Active Central
Active Central incorporates two dedicated fitness centres and a purpose-built football centre.
The Farnborough Sports Centre in Clifton opened in July 2009 offering a 26-station gym kitted out with the latest fitness equipment, timetabled exercise classes and a full sized sports hall.
The Mellish Sports Centre in Bulwell opened in February 2008 and offers a 28-station fitness centre, equipped by Technogym, a full size sports hall, conference room and IT Suite.
The Charnwood Football Centre was completed in September 2008 as part of a £2.3 million development including a full sized floodlit astro turf football pitch and changing room facilities
