Is your best still to come?
If you want to land that dream job, take a step up the career ladder or even change your career completely then a course at Central could help you get there. We offer a range of courses not only for school leavers but also people aged 19+ who want to improve their qualifications to get on in the workplace. So, whether you work in the business or management world, in sport, in the arts or photography or the automotive sector, a college course could be just what you need to move on.
Don’t be put off by thinking that college is only a place for young people. More and more students aged 19+ are coming back to college, so you certainly won’t feel out of place.
And did you know that if you are aged 19+ there may be funding available to help you? If you are planning on studying a course at Level 3 or above (excluding higher education courses*) you may be eligible for help with covering your tuition fees as outlined below.
If you are aged 19-23 at the start of the course and are studying your first full Level 3 qualification, it may be eligible for fee remission, meaning you would not have to pay course fees**. If you are aged 24 or over, or if you are aged 19–23 and have already achieved a Level 3 qualification, you may be able to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to cover the cost of your tuition fees instead.
There are no credit checks, and you don’t start making repayments until you’ve finished the course and are earning at least £21,000 per year.
Our Admissions and Student Support team can give you all the advice and help you need so if you need to ask anything call them on 0115 914 6414 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
