You’ll learn a whole range of media and digital technologies and their application in the workplace, including digital photography, graphics, journalism and video production, plus writing and editing for TV and Film. You can expect work experience opportunities and lots of practical training, combined with both practical and written assignments.
This course is based at the City Campus (Adams Building).
CAVA Access to HE Diploma
You’ll need 5 GCSEs at grades A*-C including English and maths (equivalents may be considered), or Level 2 BTEC Diploma in related area at Merit. A GCSE in English and maths is preferable, but Functional Skills may be acceptable instead. You’ll be asked to showcase a portfolio of work or demonstrate a passion for a particular subject area.
|Teaching & assessment||
Learning is assessed in a variety of methods to prepare you to study at university. This may include an extended essay, timed assessments under controlled conditions and report writing.
Choose to follow with degree level study in journalism, TV and Film, Photography, Broadcasting, Web Design and Development, Digital Media Design or other creative media subject area.
