You’ll learn teaching, teaching techniques and practices, psychology and behaviour, as well as a number of units in study skills, maths and ICT. This course combines theory with valuable practical experience, which means students will be required to arrange a placement within a school during their studies.
This course is based at the Clarendon Campus.
CAVA Access to HE Diploma
You’ll need 5 GCSEs at grades A*-C including English and maths (equivalents may be considered).
|Teaching & assessment||
Learning is assessed in a variety of methods to prepare you to study at university. This may include an extended essay, timed assessments under controlled conditions and report writing.
Choose to follow with degree level study required to move into a career in teaching or perhaps youth studies, child development or other specialist area.
