This course is ideal for anyone wanting to add Hopi Ear Candle treatment to their current treatment options.

You will learn:

  • Communication and consultation techniques
  • Contra-indications to Hopi
  • Health, safety and hygiene
  • Client preparation for Hopi treatment
  • Completing a Hopi treatment
  • Homecare and aftercare

You can expect a dedicated team of lecturers who still work in the industry, so have up to date skills and experience.

This course will be a hands-on learning experience to ensure you get a solid grounding in the main application of a Hopi ear candle treatment, using high quality products.

Entry requirements

You must have:

  • Good communication skills
  • A keen interest in holistic therapies
  • Good dexterity (hand/ eye coordination)
  • An informal chat with the tutor
Teaching & assessment

Practical skills will be assessed when carrying out a Hopi ear candle treatment on a model and completion of an end of unit test which will be graded pass or refer.

You will also undertake a multiple choice end of unit test.
