Course outline

This course is perfect if you’re a talented performer, wanting a career in the performing arts and you’re looking to further develop your skills.

You’ll learn high level skills to enable you to pursue a career in the performing arts industry including: rehearsing, acting, devising, voice, acting for TV and film, movement, physical theatre, character study and directing.

You can expect experienced tutors with huge amounts of industry experience to support you with a wide variety of practical projects covering a mixture of theatrical and acting styles, plus opportunities to work alongside other students to create your own work.

This course is based at the Clarendon Campus.

Duration

2 years

Entry requirements

You’ll need 5 GCSEs at Grade 9-4 (A*-C), including English Language and Maths – both of these must be grade 9-4 (A*-C) or Functional Skills Level 2 in English and maths or a relevant Level 2 vocational qualification with English and maths GCSE grades 9-4 (A*-C).

Progression

Choose to follow with progression to drama school, onto degree-level study or a career in the performing arts industry.
