Course outline

This qualification will develop the knowledge and skills needed when assisting and moving people as part of their care and support plan in a variety of care settings. It includes techniques, aids and equipment available, health and safety, and the importance of recording and reporting.                                                   

The course is suitable for all those who will be assisting and moving children, young people or adults in a wide range of care and NHS settings.

You will need to be working, volunteering or on practical placement as you need to show competence in both knowledge and skills.
