Brickwork (Entry Level) - Full-time

Course outline

This course is perfect if you are interested in brickwork and want to perhaps pursue a career in the building or construction trades.

You’ll learn about health and safety on a construction site, plus carry out a range of workshop based activities to build walls, lay bricks and understand bricklaying theory.

You can expect to be working with hand and power tools and learning about various building materials used in brickwork. You’ll learn in our dedicated construction centre and have the full support of our expert tutors to guide you through your course and into a career in the construction industry.

This course is based at the Basford Hall Campus.

Duration

Entry requirements

You’ll need to complete an initial assessment before you start on the course which will involve you taking a skills test and completing an interview with the tutor.

Progression

Choose to follow with a Level 1 Brickwork programme, or perhaps another building trade, or apply to be an apprentice.
