This course will provide you with a theoretical and practical approach to communications in data networks.

You will learn skills including how to use CISCO CLI commands and how to employ basic cabling and network designs to connect devices, giving you the basics to progress into the sector, leading onto careers in IT operations or telecommunications.

You must have a sound working knowledge of computers and configuration of operating systems.

Tests, exams and practical assessment.

This course is run for 2.5 hours per week (as required) on a workshop basis.
