It provides a progression opportunity to gain an honours degree after completing a relevant Higher Apprenticeship.
It is specifically designed for managers in the construction industry who wish to gain recognition for their professional learning experience towards a degree qualification.
You’ll study one of two pathways: construction management; or quantity surveying and commercial management.
Each pathway covers the following modules:
- professional development portfolio
- specialist negotiated work-based learning project:
- managing cost awareness
- managing standards
- managing project delivery
- project proposal
- final specialist-negotiated work-based learning project

Degree Apprenticeship in Construction Management (Level 6)
1 year part-time (covering a full calendar year)
You’ll need to be employed in the construction industry at a supervisor level, having completed a Higher Apprenticeship in Construction Management or a Higher National Diploma in Construction or Civil Engineering, and be wanting to progress to a professional role in the construction industry.
If you are a mature learner returning to the industry with appropriate qualifications or experience, you are welcome to apply.

On successful completion of this course you will be eligible to progress to a wide range of relevant postgraduate qualifications.
The BA (Hons) Degrees in Professional Practice have been designed to lead to professional body membership.
