Fashion Business (Level 3) - Full-time

Course outline

Perfect if you have a passion for fashion and an interest in working within the retail/business side of the industry.

You’ll learn about fashion management and marketing, store operations, buying and merchandising, styling, visual merchandising, production and supply chains and the future of fashion including sustainability.

You can expect to learn in our dedicated fashion retail spaces which include creative studios, computer suites and our own mock shop. You will be involved in events such as Nottingham Fashion Week and Nottingham College’s own Creative Industry Week, and you’ll be going behind the scenes at independent and big brand stores in Nottingham.

This course is based at the City Campus (Adams Building).

UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Fashion Business

Duration

2 years

Entry requirements

You’ll need 5 GCSEs at Grade 9-4 (A*-C), including English Language and Maths – both of these must be grade 9-4 (A*-C) or Functional Skills Level 2 in English and maths or a relevant Level 2 vocational qualification with English and maths GCSE grades 9-4 (A*-C).

Progression

Choose to follow with further study at degree level, including Nottingham College’s own FdA and BA courses in fashion retail and business. You will also be ready for an Apprenticeship in the industry, either at head office or in store.
