Course outline

This course is perfect if you are over the age of 19 and looking to improve your GCSE grades you hold currently.

You can expect to study in a supportive and friendly learning environment. You will select 4/5 GCSE subjects which must include English and maths, if you have not already achieved a minimum grade C in these subjects. You will receive support and guidance throughout your GCSE study to ensure you achieve the grades that you want and need.

You’ll study your GCSE subjects over one year so good attendance in all subject areas is a must if you’re going to keep up and succeed at the end.

This course is based at the City Campus (Adams Building).

You’ll need to be aged 19 or over and have a good standard of English and maths, so you’ll complete a short assessment to ensure you’re able to study at this level.


Choose to follow with further study on an A Level programme or onto a Level 3 vocational course or apprenticeship, through Nottingham College.
