Health and Social Care (Adults/Work Based) (Level 2) - Full-time

Course outline

This course is perfect if you have an interest in working with adults in a social care setting and want to develop your knowledge and skills in health and social care.

You’ll learn a range of different units including learning about different job roles in health and social care, the importance of communication, health and safety, duty of care and person centred care.

You can expect to develop a portfolio of work and have assessments in the workplace, you will also have plenty of opportunities for self-development.

You can study this course at either the City Campus (Maid Marian Way) or Basford Campus.

CACHE Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults/Work Based)

Entry requirements

You’ll need 4 GCSEs at Grade 9-3 (A*-D), including English Language and maths – one of English Language or maths must be grade 9-4 (A*-C) (Functional Skills L1 can be used as equivalent to GCSE Grade 3 (D) and Functional Skills L2 can be used as equivalent to GCSE Grade 4 (C) or above.

Progression

Choose to follow with further studies on the Level 3 Certificate in Health and Social Care or BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care at Nottingham College.
