This part-time university-level course provides training and vocationally relevant skills for a range of careers in hospitality, travel and tourism. This exciting sector is one of the fastest growing in the UK with huge opportunities both at home or abroad.
We’ll support and challenge you throughout the course with a variety of expert lectures, student-led activities and study day trips. We have great links with industry, so we can provide real-world learning which gives you industry insight.

HNC in Travel and Tourism Management
2 years part-time or 1 year full-time
You will need to have achieved four GCSEs including English Language and Maths at grade C or above.
Applicants must also have completed one of the following Level 3 qualifications equivalent to 64 UCAS points. Acceptable when combined with other qualifications are:

Mature students are welcome to apply. If you are a mature applicant you will need to demonstrate the ability to study at this academic level and have a genuine interest in the subject area. We interview as part of the application process.

The HNC qualification is widely recognised in its own right and provides students with the skills required for employment in a wide range of roles in the global hospitality, travel and tourism industry. Alternatively you could top-up to an HND with our flexible part-time or full-time top-up option.
After this you could either progress into the tourism industry or top up to a BA (Hons) degree at a wide range of universities. The point of entry would depend on the chosen institution, modules studied and the grades achieved at HND.
