Pearson Computing Higher National HND
2 years full-time
You will need to have successfully completed GCSEs in English Language and Maths at Grade 9-4 (A*-C). Applicants must also have completed one of the following Level 3 qualifications, equivalent to 64 UCAS points. Examples of qualifications we accept when combined with other qualifications:

We encourage mature students and applicants with non-computing backgrounds to apply, where relevant experience can be considered in place of formal qualifications. If you are a mature applicant you will need to demonstrate the ability to study at this academic level and have a genuine interest in the subject area.

The HND qualification is widely recognised in its own right and provides students with the skills required for employment in a range of associated professions.
After successfully completing the HND you could progress onto the third year of the BSc (Hons) Computing at De Montfort University as we have a progression agreement in place.
Alternatively you could top-up your qualification to a degree at a wide range of universities. The point of entry (e.g. second or third year of a degree) will depend on the chosen institution, modules studied and the grades achieved at HND.
