Holiday Spanish — Part-time
Course outline
The focus of this course is to be able to converse in and understand basic spoken and written Spanish. It is aimed at absolute beginners, or those who perhaps would like to revisit learning from school days, with the aim of being able to communicate whilst on holiday.
The course covers the following topics:
- Greetings
- Alphabet
- Numbers
- Dates
- Times
- Food and drink
- Places in a town and directions
- Body parts and aches and pains
On this course, students will develop their learning of Spanish through the four skills of language learning: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
There will be lots of opportunities to work with a partner or in a group, to practise pronunciation and working out new vocabulary.
A variety of learning techniques will be used to ensure the learning is fun and meets the needs of all

Teaching & assessment | Tutors will give regular verbal and written feedback. You will be required to complete a short workbook and encouraged to set your own personal targets as part of this course. |
