Course outline

Spend three full days in the run up to Christmas exploring colourful, torch-fired enamelling for gifts and decorations! 

Etching on brass and copper and being creative with silver, some of you will be concentrating on gifts and others on decorative features, for example, stamping to make gift tags, drinks markers, tree decorations and fabulous mobiles, bag charms, earrings, key fobs etc.

This course is suitable if you have already completed a NCFE level 1 course(s) at the Textile Workshop and are interested in progressing your skills.

Teaching & assessment

There is no formal assessment and tutors will give ongoing verbal feedback. You will be encouraged to set your own personal targets.

Please bring sheets of copper and brass and a small amount of money to cover additional costs, such as batteries and enamels).
