This course is perfect if you’ve got a basic understanding of music theory and want to develop your singing/playing ability in first-rate facilities, practice rooms and venues.
You’ll learn about the music industry, recording and playing music, ear-training and songwriting.
You can expect to play at various commercial venues and to practice, record and mix in state-of-the-art studios. You’ll also practice and collaborate with music technology students.
This course is based at the Clarendon Campus.
UAL Level 2 Diploma in Music Performance
You’ll need 4 GCSEs at Grade 9-3 (A*-D), including English Language and maths – one of English Language or maths must be grade 9-4 (A*-C) (Functional Skills L1 can be used as equivalent to GCSE Grade 3 (D) and Functional Skills L2 can be used as equivalent to GCSE Grade 4 (C) or above.
Choose to follow with further study on a Level 3 Music course or into a career as a professional musician, song-writer or engineer.
