Sewing Skills - Bag Making

Course outline

Learn how to put your sewing machine skills into action whilst making a range of different bags!

This course is for any beginner to the sewing machine and also those who have used a machine before. We will begin by making a simple reversible tote bag, learning how to measure and cut a simple pattern and also how to apply appliqué or free machine embroidery to make your bag individual. We will then move on to other bags and learn how to insert zips, add pockets and different ways to insert linings and apply handles. You can choose from a range of bag patterns or bring your own.
