this course is perfect if you would like an introduction into the world of engineering, preparing you for additional study.

You’ll learn practical and hands-on skills to help you progress to additional engineering courses.

You can expect to learn a broad range of practical skills using industry-standard technology and equipment at our dedicated engineering centre.

This course is based at the Highfields Campus.

Entry requirements

You’ll need 4 GCSEs at Grade 3-1 (D-G), including English Language and maths at Grade 3-1 (D-G) or a relevant Entry 3 vocational qualification and you will also be asked to sit an initial assessment. The initial assessment must show that you are ready to study English and maths at Level 1.

Progression

Choose to follow with a full-time Level 2 engineering course at Nottingham College, employment and/or an apprenticeship.
