What salary can I expect whilst I am an Apprentice?

The current National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £5.28 per hour, however, Gemini are pleased to offer £1 per hour more than the minimum. This applies to 16 – 18 year old apprentices and those aged over 18 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum Wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.

Reality Check

  • Candidate must be available to start immediately. Candidate must be able to travel to the workplace according to working hours.
  • Candidates will be asked to complete a week-long work trial with the employer as part of the recruitment and selection process for the role.
  • Due to the requirements of the role, candidates are required either hold, or be willing to work towards achieving a full clean driving licence.
  • There will be an opportunity for candidates to apply for employee benefits including a cycle to work scheme, and support towards achieving their motorcycle or car driving licence in accordance with certain terms and conditions. Information will be provided when the role has been accepted.
