The Cricket Development Programme (CDP) is a partnership between Central College Nottingham, The Nottinghamshire Cricket Board and Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club. This partnership allows students that are interested in cricket to attend the college, study a full-time sport qualification and also improve their own skills with the guidance of professional coaches at the world famous Trent Bridge cricket ground.
Students also have the opportunity to qualify as cricket coaches and contribute to the local cricketing landscape by volunteering with the NCB to deliver schools festivals, coach at clubs and also gain valuable industry experience by volunteering at major match cricket at Trent Bridge. The CDP combines sporting qualifications with a comprehensive practical experience which will allow 16-18 year olds to understand the cricketing and wider sports industry.
The education programme is delivered atthe Clifton campus and will involve students studying a level 2 or 3 sports qualification.
