Careers in Cars at College

Central College Nottingham’s automotive division, EMTEC, is holding a recruitment event for people interested in taking up a role as automotive skills trainers/assessors.

The event will take place at EMTEC on the Ruddington Fields Business Park on Wednesday 17 August from 5.30-8.00pm.

The college has a number of vacancies and is looking for experienced trainers with a background in the automotive sector to deliver on its UK dealership apprentice programmes with global vehicle manufacturers across the country.  In addition, applicants who wish to move from current roles within the automotive industry into delivering education are invited to apply as the college offers a comprehensive development programme.

EMTEC Head of Operations Jon Rawson said: “We are currently witnessing a huge growth within the automotive sector and with an increase in vehicle sales comes the need for more trainers to help educate the next generation of technicians. Our recruitment event will outline the requirements of the roles and suitable candidates will be invited to apply and be interviewed for one of the vacancies.”
