Construction Academy

Central College Nottingham have teamed up with The Prince’s Trust to run a ‘Sector Based Work Academy’ in Construction at its Beeston Centre.

The College is training twelve students who are currently unemployed on a multi-skilled Level 1 Award in construction. They will be learning valuable skills in bricklaying, carpentry, joinery and health and safety in preparation for taking their CSCS Health and Safety test.

All students will also be given two week’s work experience with local companies and some will be offered the chance to start an apprenticeship.
