Emtec has helped Kia Motors UK top a league table for the quality of manufacturer training in this year’s National Franchised Dealer Association (NFDA) dealer attitude survey.
The survey asks questions about the dealer’s relationship with the manufacturer across all aspects of the business. One of the questions in the survey relates to the dealer’s satisfaction with the quality of the manufacturer’s training programmes and over recent years. Kia’s training is delivered at the College’s Emtec Centre and in this category Kia secured first place making them the best manufacturer training academy in the UK!
In the overall survey, Kia was ranked in second place across all manufacturers, a fantastic achievement.
We are delighted to read this latest NFDA survey which positions the Kia Motors (UK) Ltd Academy as the best manufacturer training academy in the UK. The Kia Academy was officially opened in July 2012 at our Emtec Ruddington campus, since this date continuous progress has been made with increasing satisfaction ratings in each subsequent NFDA survey. Therefore to now be recognised as the best is great achievement and a testament to all of the investment and careful management of the Kia Academy. Our relationship with Kia is constantly evolving as is the exciting range of Kia vehicles, technologies and alternative power-trains available. The overall success of the Kia Academy is also reflected in the number of apprentices joining the national programme, which has reached a new all-time high and now supports 96% of the total UK Dealer network.- Andy Moore, Emtec’s Managing Director
