People wanting to find out more about applying for a higher education course at university or college through the University and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) for September 2016 are being invited to a special regional event being held at Central College Nottingham.

The free event takes place on Tuesday 3 November from 6.00-8.00pm at the College’s Highfields Centre on the Science Park off University Boulevard. A UCAS representative will provide an update on how to apply to UCAS effectively and writing a personal statement whilst representatives from the College will discuss fees, finance and loans.

The event is open to parents and potential students.

College teaching staff will also be on-hand to talk about the range of courses at Central.

Central runs a range of university-level courses including HNDs and Foundation Degrees in subjects such as Art & Design, Engineering , Science, Sport and Photography.

Free car parking and refreshments will be available.
