As part of Nottingham’s Festival of Literature celebrations, Central hosted a free creative writing workshop for aspiring writers at its Maid Marian Way Centre on Thursday 10 November.
The College offers part-time creative writing and e-publishing courses and tutor and local writer, Phil Pidluznyj ran a drop-in workshop for people to find out about a new short course which starts in January and runs for 10 weeks.
At the end of each 10-week short course students are asked to contribute a short story for inclusion in an Anthology of pieces, published as an e-book, which is then sold on Amazon.
The next short course starts on 18 January 2017. It will run on Wednesday evenings 6.30-8.30pm for ten weeks and it costs £80 (it may be free if in receipt of some benefits – contact the College for details).
