We’re a non-profit making company, run by a Board of non-executive directors, who include – our own tenants and leaseholders, Councillors and other independent members.

Since we began in 2005 we have grown from more than just a company that provides a decent home to our residents to having a major role building communities where people can thrive and feel that they belong. For the first time in a generation, we’re also building hundreds of new council homes for Nottingham residents as part of our Building a Better Nottingham programme.
Why we recruit apprentices
We’re known for our award-winning apprenticeship programmes, and we invest heavily in apprentice training and development. We understand the need to pass on the building skills to the next generation, as there will always be a need to build and maintain homes.
As a company we have a duty of care to provide jobs within our local communities, and one area to achieve this is through our apprenticeship programme.
We actively support our apprentice’s development and will continue this support long after the apprenticeship has been completed through our various tenancy and involvement programmes.
Why we chose to work with Central
We have built a good relationship with Central College in supporting our Business administration and construction apprentices. We both know that by communicating extensively we can support apprentices with their qualification and training needs, so they can become competent and proficient in their chosen career.
