How to Enrol on a Part-Time Course

Some courses require guidance or the completion of an application form prior to enrolment, this is indicated in the course information.

There are a number of ways that you can enrol and pay your course fees:

In person

You can pay by cheque, cash or card at any college site . If you wish, you can download, print and complete an Enrolment Form before you come in. If you are claiming a reduction in fees, please bring the relevant evidence with you.

By phone

If you are not claiming a reduction of fees you can telephone us to enrol on 0115 914 6414. Please make sure you have your debit/credit card with you when you ring, as well as the course details.

By post

Download, print and complete an Enrolment Form and send it to:

Central College Nottingham
Maid Marian Way
NG1 6AB

Please make the cheque payable to “Central College Nottingham”.

If you are claiming a reduction in fees you must include the relevant evidence.

Employer paying fees

The College will require full payment or a letter from the employer, on headed paper, requesting that an invoice be raised and sent to them for the relevant fee(s). This should be produced at the time of enrolment.

Paying by instalments

Instalment payments may be made by direct debit where the total course fees are £100.00 or more. Agreement forms and direct debit authorisations are issued at the College’s main receptions. For courses of 25 weeks or more, an initial deposit is required, and then three further payments will be collected during the course. Instalments are available for shorter courses but these payments are collected by deposit and one further instalment midway through the course. The deposit must be paid at enrolment. An administration charge of £20.00 is made where instalments are taken out and the students choose to be invoiced rather than use the direct debit system. This charge is payable with the deposit. There is no administration fee if the student pays by direct debit.

Some courses will need you to purchase additional materials which are linked to your studies, such as books, consumables or the cost of trips. The College will try to inform you of such costs at the start of the course.
