What is Clearing

Pratical Information

Clearing is a UCAS service that helps applicants if they’re not accepted on a course, they’ve declined all offers or if they’ve applied after 30 June. Clearing runs from mid-July to September each year. If your first and insurance higher education choice turns you down you’ll be eligible to apply to a course through clearing.

Applying for a course

Applying for a course through clearing with us is easy. Simply follow these steps:

1. Browse our courses that are available through clearing

2. Once you’ve found a course ensure that you have your clearing number to hand. You can get this through UCAS Track Note: If you haven’t created an account with UCAS, you’ll need to do that first.

3. Once you have both your chosen course details and your UCAS clearing number, contact the HE team (contact details below).

4. Our team will be able to access your eligibility for your chosen course. If you’re accepted the rest of the progress will be explained to you.
