Our GCSE programme is ideal if you want to improve your grades from school by resitting some subjects. Or, if you took your exams a while ago, you may need to get certain qualifications to help further your career.
You can choose from two different pathways in science or humanities.
At Nottingham College we are recognised for the specialisms offered in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) as a result the College was the first organisation in the region to achieve
the STEM Assured status.
The GCSE subjects available for the science pathway are English, maths, biology, chemistry, physics, psychology and human physiology. The humanities pathway features English and/or maths, history, psychology and sociology.
The programme of study will provide you with the opportunity to study up to four GCSEs to suit you. Both pathways enable you to study in a block which is usually over three days each week. This is intended to give you an element of flexibility for other commitments you may have, such as work.
After successfully completing the course, you will be able to progress onto a Level 3 course. It will also help in your future career as many employers look for GCSE passes when recruiting.
Part-time GCSEs are available in the following subjects at various campuses around Nottingham.
