Catering

If you choose one of our full-time hospitality and catering courses, you’ll get to train at the world-renowned Trent Bridge cricket ground. This venue hosts some of the biggest sporting events in the country as well as high-quality banqueting and corporate events. You will be at the exciting heart of it as you learn the skills needed to step into this fast-paced, dynamic and creative sector. 

Our courses will give you a full insight into what it takes to work in catering at high-end functions in a world-class sporting venue. We also provide the training needed for employment within a larger scale food production environment. You will develop a full understanding and the required skills for working both back and front of house and this will lead you confidently into the workplace.

The hospitality industry employs more than 10% of the UK workforce: almost 3 million people work in a wide variety of roles in the hospitality and tourism sector, so there are plenty of career opportunities, especially in Nottingham.

We’ve worked with local, national and international sponsors and businesses to get real industry work experience for our students as well as supporting the Head Chef and his staff at Trent Bridge to deliver their broad range of events.

Service Sector Management BA (Hons) Top-Up Degree

The service sector is fiercely competitive at  management level. The main aim of this programme is to enhance your management skills and understanding of the importance of effective business management within the sector. 

Hospitality Management Foundation Degree
